Superior: Private furnished bedroom, tastefully furnished with guaranteed internet access in the room, central or room air conditioning, and use of a private bathroom (subject to availability).
Single: Guest is the ONLY person in the bedroom.
Double: Two guests sharing a bedroom. The price listed is per person and only applies during the dates that two guests occupy the bedroom. If one guest leaves, then single rates will apply to the remaining guest.
Breakfast: A self-served morning meal (coffee, tea or milk; bread or toast; jam, cream cheese, butter) made available daily for the guest.
Dinner: A prepared evening meal that is served at a time that is mutually convenient for the Guest and the Host. For other meals, the Guest will be allotted a space in the refrigerator and will be allowed to do light meal preparation in the kitchen.
Week: A week is considered to be 6 nights. We have one restroom that is only used by Students/Visitors, this restroom has a shower/toilet/and medicine chest. No one in the house uses the student/visitor restroom, we have our own private restroom.
We charge a $25 clean up fee that is refundable upon departure. We also charge a fee to reserve your room. The fee is $250 to reserve your room, this amount is deducted from your total price. For teens/minors we charge a flat $1400 per month, or $400 per week.
Once a student pays for their room in full we can not give any refunds 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you wish to cancel you must cancel prior to 30 days of your scheduled trip. We have to turn other students away based on your reservation. So we need more than 30 days to find someone else to take the room.
Our daily rate is $65 per night this includes breakfast and dinner.

*All prices are in US dollars and the rates displayed are per person. Additional nights and weeks are calculated on a pro-rated basis. Discounts will be made for students or visitors who wish to stay longer and who wish to pay for their entire accommodation in advance. This will be up to the discretion of the Lawson's Homestay.

Private English Lessons: $30 per hour
Lunch served daily for $10 US dollars per day.
Housecleaning daily for $10-$15 US dollars per day depending on specific services.
Laundry Service available for $10 US dollars per load includes wash and dry and soap. If you stay a month or more it will be free of charge.
Trips and tours: $30 per hour with a min of 2 hours.
If a student needs help finding a high school we charge a fee of $150 ( non refundable) to call and contact schools on your behalf. We will give you the list and contact information and it is your job to secure an application and acceptance into the school that you choose. We are not responsible if you are not accepted. This fee must be paid prior to us looking for school for you.
If a student needs help finding an internship here in Los Angeles we charge a fee of $200 (non refundable) to call and contact companies on your behalf. We will give you the list and contact information and it is your responsibility to secure the internship. We are not responsible if you are not accepted. This fee must be paid prior to us looking for an internship for you.
